What happens if the guarantee isn’t met?
Lucina’s guarantees are built to offer peace of mind and real financial protection:
- Blastocyst Guarantee: If no blastocyst results from your first cohort, Lucina provides up to two additional cohorts at no cost (one at a time). If none result in a blastocyst, you receive a full refund (minus transportation fees).
- PGT-A Guarantee: If your cohort doesn’t yield a PGT-A passed embryo, you’ll receive up to two more cohorts. If no qualifying embryo is achieved, you’re eligible for a full refund (excluding transportation fees).
- Live Birth Guarantee: You receive up to six cohorts, with the goal of a live birth or four PGT-A passed embryos. If neither is reached, you receive a full refund.
Are there hidden fees or conditions?
No. Lucina’s pricing is fixed, transparent, and designed to eliminate surprises:
- No upfront fees until you choose a donor.
- Cohort pricing is all-inclusive, except for shipping.
Can I switch between or combine guarantee programs?
Each program is designed to serve a specific goal:
- Guarantees are offered as individual packages (Blastocyst, PGT-A, or Live Birth).
- For tailored advice on switching programs, your Lucina financial coordinator can help you choose what best fits your journey.
How do I apply for a refund if needed?
No complex forms or red tape:
- Refund eligibility is baked into each guarantee program.
- Your dedicated Lucina coordinator will guide you through every step, including any refund-related matters if needed.
What if my clinic isn’t partnered with Lucina?
That’s not a problem. Lucina works with clinics across the U.S. and worldwide:
- If your clinic isn’t partnered yet, Lucina coordinates directly with them.
- All logistics—from egg shipping to thaw protocols—are handled seamlessly to uphold quality standards.
