Do intended parents need to travel for appointments or procedures?

No. There’s no need to travel for any part of the egg shipment process. Your cohort is sent directly to your fertility clinic, where all fertilization and transfer procedures take place locally.

Do you work with clinics that are not yet partnered with Lucina?

Absolutely. Even if your IVF clinic is not currently a Lucina partner, we’ll handle all communication, shipping logistics, and thaw protocol delivery to ensure a smooth collaboration.

Do you ship internationally and to my country/clinic?

Yes. Lucina partners with IVF centers across the U.S. and internationally. We can ship frozen donor eggs to most licensed fertility clinics worldwide. Simply contact us to confirm whether your specific clinic or location is eligible for international shipment.

How quickly can eggs be shipped to my clinic?

Lucina’s logistics team can ship your donor eggs within 5–7 business days after payment. We coordinate directly with your clinic to confirm delivery and maintain chain-of-custody integrity from our lab to theirs.

How long does the process take from cohort purchase to embryo transfer?

The entire process moves quickly—shipment can be completed within a few days after purchase, since our eggs are immediately available. Once your clinic (or surrogate) begins medications to prepare the uterus, embryo transfer typically occurs about one month later.

How does the overall process work with my IVF clinic?

We work hand-in-hand with your IVF clinic of choice to ensure smooth coordination. Once your cohort is selected, Lucina schedules shipment for a time when your clinic’s lab is ready to receive the eggs. If your clinic hasn’t worked with us before, we’ll provide detailed thaw protocols and direct support for their embryology team.
