I donated two years back when I was still in college. Two of my friends from school had already donated so I asked them every question I could think of before deciding to apply. I found Lucina, applied and I got accepted. Gotta say I was a bit nervous at the first about injections, but my coordinators Michelle and Rachel helped me get through it. They made sure that I was fully aware of the process before I began and I felt confident moving forward with the process (and shots). It was an amazing experience! I learned so much about myself, my body and even my genetics. If you’re thinking about becoming a donor, definitely check this program out.
